Many of you know the internal battle I face (sometimes every day) over the loss of my mother because of religion. I am taking a New Testament class right now that has really opened my eyes to understanding why my mother truly is the way she is, and how she will probably never change. I understand now. I am not angry, and I forgive her...and I am learning to say goodbye.
Some things we will never be able to change, and that is okay. You just have to find the power deep within to realize THAT, and learn to let go...
